A global risk provider partners with financial institutions to cover credit exposure arising from fund financing transactions. The role sits within a team analysing and supporting both individual deals and structured portfolio solutions. You’ll work closely with senior risk managers and contribute to credit decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the credit quality of investment funds and analyse financing structures
- Draft internal credit papers and provide clear recommendations to stakeholders
- Evaluate risk limits for larger or complex deals
- Monitor portfolio performance and flag emerging risks early
- Direct client interaction, including deal discussions and due diligence
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and new business opportunities
- Help improve risk tools, processes, and reporting systems
Profile
- Degree in finance, economics, or similar (or equivalent professional training)
- Solid experience in fund finance and exposure to underlying asset classes (e.g. infrastructure, real estate, corporate credit)
- Understanding of financial institutions is beneficial
- Strong knowledge of credit risk and banking regulation (including structured transactions / capital treatment)
- Analytical mindset with sound judgement and clear communication skills
- Team-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a client-facing environment
- Good working knowledge of Excel / data tools
- Fluent in English- other languages beneficial!
